Consumer Direct Events

We have a number of different seminars that will help you decide how you may be able to use K12. Some families purchase one course to supplement their existing curriculum, while others purchase multiple subjects to create their own full-time curriculum. The choice is yours. We’re happy to provide the content and tools to help you along your educational journey.

Each seminar is approximately one hour and provides plenty of time to ask questions. And each seminar is unique. Choose the one that most closely matches what you're hoping to do for your family's education. Best of all, you don’t even have to leave your home to attend.

These seminars review the K¹² philosophy, course content and materials, purchase options, and also give you a sneak peak at the K¹² Online Learning School (OLS). You'll also receive an OLS demo account access code so that following the seminar you can try out the K¹² curriculum for yourself.

The K¹² Online School: Making Your Life Easier

This seminar focuses on the Online School (OLS) tools and features, and walks you through learning schedules, lessons, planning, materials, assessments, and attendance options. You'll also see the progress tool, which helps parents evaluate what they've already covered and what needs to be covered in future lessons. Finally, you'll receive an OLS demo account access code so that following the seminar you can try out the K¹² curriculum for yourself.

Discover K¹²: Subject by Subject

Interested in hearing more about a specific K¹² subject area? These seminars are a great way to do it. Each one offers a unique and focused presentation about a specific K¹² curriculum subject area and provides insight into the course philosophy and hierarchy of that subject. You'll also hear how the course correlates with other K¹² subjects and, in some cases, receive handouts for additional activities for you and your children. You'll also receive an OLS demo account access code so that following the seminar you can try out the K¹² curriculum for yourself.

Speak to the World (Foreign Language Focus)

These seminars are geared to introducing families to powerspeaK¹², K¹²'s foreign language curriculum. Each seminar will discuss how the curriculum is built for kids, demonstrate the online learning tools including audio and answer questions.

High School Options

K¹² offers several high school options including part-time and full-time enrollment in the International Academy. If you choose to remain an independent homeschooler, the part-time option offers you a wide variety of course selections and you continue to remain a homeschooler. If you are looking for a full-time high school option, the International Academy offers numerous courses, teachers, advisors, college and career planning and a private school diploma. Join us online to learn these two options and decide how either may fit your needs.
