Consumer Direct Materials for K-8
K¹² courses make rich use of the best in interactive learning through our Online School lessons and great hands-on learning materials. With our K¹² subscription program, you buy only the materials you need for the courses you select. All courses have standard materials kits which contain the recommended materials for each course. Many courses also have additional resources, such as pre-printed student and teacher pages, available to order to enhance your learning experience. All of the materials kits are described below. Complete lists of materials available per course and grade level can be found here.
| Standard Kit | Contains items required to complete a majority of the K12 online lessons. These items are either proprietary or may be difficult to find in the marketplace. |
| Consumables Kit | Contains workbooks and other items from the Standard Kit that cannot be reused. We recommend you purchase the Standard Kit for your first child enrolled in a course and the Consumables Kit for subsequent children enrolled in the same course (for example, twins, younger siblings). |
| Upgrade Kit | Contains the additional items required to complete the K12 online lessons not included in the Standard Kit. These items are non-proprietary and/or easily found in the marketplace. We recommend you purchase the Upgrade Kit and the Standard Kit for your child. |
| Booster Kit | K12 offers a Booster Kit for Language Arts 1. If your student has the Standard Kit from Language Arts K, we recommend you purchase the Booster Kit for Language Arts 1. |
| Student Pages | Student Pages are printed copies of the student worksheets and additional learning materials available electronically in the K12 Online School. You can purchase these pre-printed and bound Student Pages from K12 rather than downloading and printing the online versions. |
| Teacher Pages | Teacher Pages are printed copies of the teacher guides and answer keys available electronically in the K12 Online School. You can purchase these pre-printed and bound Teacher Pages from K12 rather than downloading and printing the online versions. |
