Provide academic support, motivation, and direction throughout the school year

A Learning Coach’s time commitment and daily tasks vary depending on their child’s grade level, but all Learning Coaches share a few basic responsibilities: 

Making sure your student attends live classes and completes schoolwork on time
Following attendance policies and communicating directly with teachers and staff as needed
Building in healthy breaks throughout the day
Encouraging student socialization outside of class time

If you’re the Learning Coach of a student with exceptional needs, your IEP team will provide additional personalized support.
